21st Oct 2008
Firstly well done to everyone who has participated in the program so far. The Sunday sessions have been very enjoyable with everyone being so positive and the improvement has been outstanding.
This Sunday the bus has been organised to transport us to Cricket Willow (Daylesford) and will be leaving the Strathfieldsaye Recreation Reserve (at the nets) at 9:15am sharp. Parents are welcome to jump on as well and come watch the girls in action for what should prove to be a great day. The bus will cost $5 per person to assist in covering costs.
I know that the shirts were meant to be here earlier but I have been assured that they will arrive ready to be played in for this Sunday. If you could please bring white cricket pants, if you have a spare pair please bring them just in case some girls do not have cricket pants.
I also ask that you bring drink bottles and lunch. There will be drink containers there so that you can fill up your drink bottles. The canteen at the ground will be open but I am not sure whether they will have sufficient food for a good lunch, but I know they have drinks, chips etc so bring a little bit of money if you would like to purchase these.
I look forward to the day and seeing all the skills practised put into action. For any queries please contact me on the details below.
